Code of Ethics

  • 1. Research Misconduct
    • "Research Misconduct" refers to fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, the practice to indicate wrong authors on papers while suggesting a research, conducting a research, reporting or having a presentation of research results, etc.
    • 1"Fabrication" refers to the practice of making false data that do not exit or false research results.
    • 2"Falsification" refers to the manipulation of the research materials, equipment or process; or the arbitrary alteration or omission of data, which lead to the distortion of the contents or the research results
    • 3"Plagiarism" refers to the appropriation of another person' ideas, research contents or results without any indication of the sources.
    • 4"Indication of Wrong Authors of Papers" refers to the practice of not granting authorship to a person who made scientific and technical contributions to the research contents or results without reasonable grounds; or the practice of granting authorship to a person who did not scientifically or technically contribute to the research contents or results for authorship out of gratitude or respect.
    • 5"Duplication or Self-Plagiarism" refers to the practice of authors' use of their previously published works in whole or in part without proper citation as though it were new, or in a manner that goes beyond the conventionally accepted level despite proper citation.
