Start up incubating Business development center emerges as a source of venture new business enterpriseses and job creation new employment

○ As Since the “growth without employment” trend is visible in reality along with the trend
of advance of the Korean economic advancement the job creation appears has emerged
as a major policy task.
○ KIET conducted a fact- finding survey jointly with the Small and Medium Business
Special Committee, which target ding start up incubatingbusiness development centers
and, with high contribution focused heavily to on job creation as the cradle main support of
business ventures businesses, jointly with the Small and Medium Business Special
Committee.
- During 1998-∼2003, the number rate of employment created by the resident firms in the

number of venture businesses was 1,660, and the . The sales amount was 3.1696 trillion
won. In view of all this, the operation overall performance of start up incubatingthe
business development centers was goodprofitable, according to the survey.
