Structural Change of the Korean Economy and the Effect of the Exchange Rate
○ This study seeks to measure the overall effect of exchange rate fluctuation not just on the export performance, profitability and pass-through of individual industries, but also on the value added, income distribution, employment and purchasing power, of the Korean economy from the diversified standpoint.
○ To this end, this study strives to analyze the effect of exchange rate fluctuation on value added through input-output structure for individual industries, the effect of the fluctuation on purchasing power in accordance with the change in revenue and expenditure and the effect of the fluctuation on distribution and employment in accordance with the change in value added. and investigate in what ways such effects differ compared to the past.
Development of Service Design and the Effective Utilization of Industry by Public Sectors
○ This study seeks to wrap up and suggest the concept of service design, and examine the current status of private and public sectors’ utilization of service design.
○ This study seeks to analyze the effect of public sector’s utilization of service design, and suggest measures for its effective utilization to improve the innovation of public service through the expanding awareness of service design to government and private sector based on the case analysis, and perceiving the importance of public service innovation.
